Description
The disbandment of The Revolution, Sheila E’s separate activities, and a live performance in Cleveland during such a blank period is recorded with a realistic audience recording. In the first half, which unfolds like a medley, the hit song The Glamorous Life is played easily, and now Love A Blue Train is played as if it were this song, while Erotic City is an arrangement reminiscent of the later Lovesexy tour. From there, Soul Salsa style percussion and the flow to Sister Fate, an unreleased gospel song Holy One reminiscent of Adore, Bedtime Story also played well, A Love Bizarre where Prince is not included but Sheila sings a lot, and There’s an interlude like the one shown on the Lovesexy tour, Sheila’s drum solo, and it closes with a funky 7-minute long version of Holly Rock? The Glamorous Life made me think so and played it! It’s a 45-minute live performance, but the roller coaster-like ride is so cool that it gives you goosebumps. After this, Sheila was selected as the drummer for Prince’s band and went on to perform on the Lovesexy tour. And a video compilation DVD containing Sheila E’s performances at her peak. Some of the videos may have audio cutouts or poor quality, but please note that these are extremely rare videos.
