The unedited FM broadcast version of “FILTHY LUCRE LIVE”, which includes the London performance from the 1996 reunion European tour, is now available! The live performance held at London’s Finsbury Park on June 23, 1996, when they reunited, was broadcast on the BBC program Radio One, and was later officially released as “FILTHY LUCRE LIVE”, but this work is based on that FM. It is recorded as a high-quality stereo soundboard recording from the cassette master that air-checked the broadcast. In “FILTHY LUCRE LIVE”, John’s vocals, backing vocals, etc. were overdubbed and edited, but in the FM broadcast, the actual live performance was recorded as a high-quality stereo soundboard with a rough mix without any overdubs or other editing. It is recorded in , so you can enjoy the actual live performance! Only a few seconds of the ending part of E.M.I. are missing, but that part is filled in with another sound source. Also included are parts that were cut in “FILTHY LUCRE LIVE”, such as John’s MC between songs. It is recorded from the opening MC by the radio DJ, the single that was cut from “FILTHY LUCRE LIVE”, the last song “No Fun” which was only included in the Japanese version, and the ending MC by the radio DJ!
