Scorpions/CA,USA 08.14.1999 Soundboard Edition

This 64-minute recording of the San Bernardino, California performance on August 14th, from the North American tour accompanying the release of “EYE II EYE” in 1999, was taken from the stereo soundboard master broadcast by FM:WLUP. This is not a complete set because it is a broadcast source, but it is a new master that was recently unearthed and transferred directly from the DAT tape recorded at the time, so the quality is comparable to that of an official bootleg. Since it was a radio broadcast, only two songs from the album, “Mysterious” and “Mind Like A Tree,” are included, and the rest are a parade of representative songs from the 80s. Although the album incorporates electronic pop, the live performance is still full of the Scorpions’ signature performance.
