This is a complete digital audience recording of a gig held at a nightclub in Santa Clara, California on January 1st, New Year’s Day, as part of an acoustic project with Gary Barden, which was held only a few times in early 2010. A week later, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of MSG’s formation, Simon Phillips and Neil Murray joined the band and they performed a special Japan-only tour with the lineup from their first album. This acoustic live performance, which could be considered a warm-up for the tour, is an extremely rare gig in and around California, including the day after. The set list, which was only performed at this show, includes songs from the album “LADY GIPSY,” and even MSG and UFO numbers are performed in an acoustic style, so fans should check it out as a valuable record. 1.
