Description
In 1969, Santana’s debut album had not yet been released, but they had already made a name for themselves by appearing at the Texas Pop Festival and the legendary Woodstock. This live performance was recorded at the Fillmore West in San Francisco on February 14th, 1969, in soundboard quality, recorded directly from the stage monitor. It is believed to have been recorded for the purpose of recording and then leaked by someone involved, making it the oldest live recording in existence. This is a reproduction of Santana’s early, vivid live performance, with a strong Latin flavor, focusing on songs from their first album. 01. INTRODUCTION/02. WAITING/03. TREAT/04. EVIL WAYS/05.
