As I always write when introducing Roy Buchanan’s recordings, he is a master of the Telecaster. He produces a variety of tones without relying too much on effects. Among his official albums, the most popular is the famous live album “Live Stock,” but this title is a recording of a live performance held at the same time from a soundboard. Therefore, the sound quality is good. It contains the first and second shows from the live performances on February 22nd and 23rd, 1974. Incidentally, the official “Live Stock” was performed on November 27th of the same year. The same label also released recordings from other days of the same year, so I recommend those as well.
