Description
From the 1977 UK tour, a live performance at Hammersmith Odeon, London on January 19th is coupled with sound and video. First, the CD contains 70 minutes of stereo soundboard sound source aired on FM. This contains two more songs than the TV version, “Barley And Grape Rag” and “Bullfrog Blues”, and the sound is mixed differently from the TV source, with a perfectly separated stereo feeling and excellent sound quality. The set includes 3-4 songs each from “CALLING CARD” and “AGAINST THE GRAIN”, as well as plenty of familiar covers such as “Pistol Slapper Blues”, “Too Much Alcohol”, “Going To My Home Town” and “Bullfrog Blues”. The video DVD is also of official quality, professional shot, and recorded for 58 minutes. This period was said to be the golden quartet, and it was the final period of the four-piece with Rod Diaz and Lou Martin, and the ensemble was at the peak of maturity. A must-have collector’s edition for fans who want to enjoy this amazing performance through sound and video. CD : 1. Alan Black Introduction 2. Do You Read Me 3. Secret Agent 4. Calling Card 5.
