Description

Ron Wood’s third studio solo album, released in 1979. The rough music from the same album that was discovered in JEMS’s “Foxes In The Boxes” series is a hot topic, and this album is a convenient one to compare with the collection of outtakes. Contains the version that was first released on CD in Europe in 1989. A flat transfer natural sound typical of CDs from this era. Since this is an official take, I won’t go into details, but it’s an ultra-clear final mix that (of course) has a fun contrast between the raw texture of the demo and outtake that can be heard on the rough mix of the press edition and the arranged song. Originally, the rough mix was an appealing piece, but I never expected to hear an even more RAW and ROUGH version in 2020! Both the songs and the mix are really great, and you can listen to it with an exquisite sound balance, making it an excellent masterpiece full of interesting things to listen to.
