Description
A soundboard recording of Stones member Ron Wood’s live performance in San Diego in November 1992. From his latest album “Slide On This”, songs such as The Parliaments’ cover “Testify” and “Josephine”, whose title is named after his wife at the time, are played, and Ronnie’s vocals are also very smooth in this live performance. The other songs are from two bands that Ronnie was a member of, including “Pretty Beat Up,” from The Rolling Stones’ 1983 release “Undercover,” in which Ronnie’s name appears along with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It is credited. “Flying” is from the Faces’ first album “First Step” in 1970, “Silicone Grown” is from the 1973 album “Ooh La La,” and the last song on this live album, “Stay With Me,” is from 1971. It is from the album “A Nod Is as Good as a Wink… to a Blind Horse” which reached number 2 in the UK and number 6 in the US, and “Stay With Me” reached number 6 and number 17 in the UK and US singles charts respectively. I’m marking the place. SOURCE: EXCELLENT SOUNDBOARD RECORDINGS. Live at Rhythm Cafe, San Diego, CA. 16 November, 1992. DISC ONE 01. Testify 02. Show Me 03. Flying 04. Breathe on Me 05.
