Description
This is a remastered version of the high-quality audience recording from the second day of Seattle on October 15, 1981, which first appeared last year and caused a big stir among enthusiasts. Digital transfer. Although it gives the impression of a slight distance, the sound itself is captured firmly from beginning to end, and the overall listening experience is excellent. Even though there is a video for the screen, it is a high-quality sound source that fans must listen to, as it is only because they have taken the trouble to release the audience take. The cassette of the famous recorder (MS) is directly digitized, and the sound is extremely fresh. The original sound source has been slightly compressed and the volume adjusted. There has also been some EQ processing, and the bass range has been raised without being too much. I think the originally sparse bass range has become a little thicker and easier to listen to. The first song, Under My Thumb, is cut in. There is a cutout at the very end of She’s So Cold, and cross-fading has been applied here. The performance was also more exciting than the previous day, with songs such as Jumping Jack Flash and All Down The Line accelerating in the second half, and especially the performances during this period were much more powerful than those in the album “Still Life” and the movie “Let’s Spend The Night Together”, which recorded the performances from the middle of the tour. Mick’s singing style is wild and he has not yet paid attention to his throat, so I think it feels much more powerful. (The text after “Performance” is a quote from the “Boot Recording Encyclopedia”.) This is the first appearance of an audience recording from 1981, and it is ranked high right away, making it a must-listen for fans. Live At Kingdome, Seattle, WA, USA 15th October 1981.
