Description

The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” is getting more and more heated as the tour enters the second half. Two latest live albums that report on the tour in real time are now available. This is the first of them. It is a superb audience recording of the “Las Vegas Performance on November 6, 2021”, the 10th performance of the tour. This work is unique in many ways. First of all, the sound. This is a superbly elegant full press class. The core is extremely thick and extremely tight. It approaches with a direct feeling that hits you with almost no sound, and if the details are fine, the separation is also superb. However, the original recording did not sound like this. It is a remastered version of an audience recording that appeared on the Internet, but the original sound is honestly not that great. There is no denying the sense of distance in the sound that swells and expands, and the thick and blurry air hides the details. However, the strength of the core was first-class, so I thought, “Should I try mastering it just to be sure?” However, this was a wonderful rebirth. If you are a customer of our store, you know that digital remastering is not “the magic that turns anything into a famous recording”. Depending on the original personality, no matter how you tweak it, it may not get better, but may even get worse, or conversely, it may be reborn as if it were a different recording with just a little adjustment. It all depends on the compatibility with mastering. And this work is an example of good compatibility. Even a little adjustment improves it wonderfully, and it gets better and better with each touch. The transparency of the thick sound increases, and the hidden outline stands out sharply. What is particularly wonderful is that the sound is not completely erased, but it remains as the thickness of the performance sound, and it is summarized with a tight feeling that it is difficult to distinguish whether it is a sound or a core. We have handled countless audience recordings of many bands / artists, but it is rare to have a recording that is reborn so completely. It was a famous recording of the type that the work itself is a pleasure (it is a shame that you can not compare it with the blurry original sound). The show itself drawn with such a reborn sound is also unique. Here, let’s organize the set as usual. Fixed songs: Tumbling Dice/You Can’t Always Get What You Want/Living In A Ghost Town/Start Me Up/Honky Tonk Women/Miss You/Midnight Rambler/Paint It Black/Sympathy For The Devil/Jumping Jack Flash/Gimme Shelter/(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction Daily songs: Keith Corner: Connection/Happy; Others: Street Fighting Man/It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll/19th Nervous Breakdown/Rocks Off/Ruby Tuesday *Note: The above is composed of set information up to the Atlanta performance (11/11). … and so on. What is unique is that it has no individuality. In fact, there are no songs that will be making their debut in 2021. At the time of writing this article, the 11th performance in Atlanta has been completed, but the previous 10 performances had some kind of debut song. However, on this day, “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” was the second time since the first day in St. Louis, “Rocks Off” and “Ruby Tuesday”. It was a rare show that had nothing new. And the performance that spelled out such a set was quite unique. The previous Dallas performance was shortened by rain, but this work, which was three days old, may not have recovered. Mick’s singing was not tense and he has not yet returned to his normal condition. It seems that the dry climate of Las Vegas does not suit Mick. Anyway, this is a superb live album that has been beautifully reborn from the net sound source. A live album has been released that reports on the 10th performance of the tour. A sound that has been polished from the original sound that appeared on the net. This is one that allows you to experience the full show of Yokozuna Sumo, which has the highest rate of standard songs on this tour.
