Description
The seventh performance of the No Filter tour, the Amsterdam performance on September 30th, is recorded in full with a high-quality audience recording. It has been upgraded compared to the original sound by moderate equalization and applause mitigation processing. This is a good sound source of Keith’s loud guitar sound, which is well-balanced and lively, for the first song, Sympathy for the Devil. The sound is much higher quality than Spielberg and Hamburg, which were released last week. The natural and ear-friendly sound image without excessive equalization is sure to capture the hearts of core fans who have been in contact with hundreds (thousands?) of Stones sound sources. Of course, it’s not like “sound close!”, but this stable and unobtrusive thick sound is wonderful! Of course, if the sound was closer and clearer, it would probably be a sound source that would be regrettably discharged, but at the moment, this is the only sound source for 9/30 Amsterdam (should be), so this must be cherished. The Stones have been gradually improving since the start of the tour. (Actually, it goes up and down) but this Amsterdam is completely back in tune and shows off a high-grade performance from start to finish. Why is it so good? It’s such a nice stage that it makes you feel happy and strange when you listen to it. Keith’s solo is also decided, and the dangerous parts are greatly reduced. It’s a good recording that makes you feel various expectations if you keep it like this. There are clapping and cheers, but the sense of realism is also good (there is no strange person), and it is moving in every place. The last Satisfaction is really the best live take (especially the 6-minute range). The fireworks at 7:30 are also recorded nicely. Unfortunately, “Dancing with Mr. D” was not performed again in terms of the set. You Got Me Rocking and Shine A Light appeared for the first time on the tour on this day. The quality of the recording may be 75 to 80 points, but the overall score as a record is considered to be at a fairly high level (it was probably fortunate that they were able to record this song so stably), and this one-of-a-kind “LIVE IN AMSTERDAM 2017” has the potential to become a very important album in the future. I highly recommend it! Live at Arena, Amsterdam, Netherlands 30th September 2017 Disc 1 (68:36) 1. Intro 2. Sympathy for the Devil 3. It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll 4. Tumbling Dice 5. Just Your Fool 6.
