This is a professional shot of the Wembley Stadium performance in London in June 1982. The first 48 minutes are multi-camera footage of the members’ close-ups, allegedly leaked from the BBC (not broadcast) from the June 26th show on the second day of Wembley. The content is familiar to fans, starting in the middle of Tumbling Dice and recording the second half of the show as it is, and the image and sound are excellent. Even if you look back at it now, it is a standard video, but it is definitely a must-have and must-see for fans. There are so many close-ups of the members’ faces that you can’t help but wish for more of a full view of the stage and the excited audience, but is that a luxury? The fun production of Satisfaction is also one of the highlights. Even if the video image is distorted, the sound is still there, so you can watch it without stress. In the second track, She’s So Cold, the timing of Keith’s guitar and drums is completely off, making for a messy performance. This song is interesting because of Mick trying to get back on his feet and Bill’s close-up of a grin that seems to say, “What are you doing?” The MC at the end, “Thank you very much, London! It’s great to be home!” is also nice. The outro, Land Of Hope And Glory, features a long shot of the venue before the start of the concert, which is still bright, in sync with the closing BGM, which is the opposite of the chronological order, but this is also very valuable as a documentary. Under My Thumb is the familiar “Best Hits USA” version broadcast in Japan. This is footage from the first day in London on the 25th, a one-camera professional shot from the bottom right, but it is a great video that captures the opening enthusiasm in real life. The second half includes an additional recording of a special program broadcast by Austrian TV station “ORF2” on January 24, 1982. The German translation overlaps, but the interview with Mick and Bill was recorded in Chicago on November 25th. The live performances of Under My Thumb, When The Whip Comes Down, and Let’s Spend The Night Together, which are inserted in small segments, are live shots from the Orlando performance on October 24, 1981. (It’s strange that the backstage scenes used to create the atmosphere are from 1976.) Like the Wembley footage, the image quality and sound are both excellent, and it is an excellent document that realistically conveys the situation at the time.
