Description
The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” is getting more and more heated as the tour enters the second half. Two new live albums that report on the tour in real time are now available. This is the second of them. It is a masterpiece audience recording of the “Atlanta performance on November 11, 2021”, the 11th performance of the tour. By the time this update was made, the 12th performance in Detroit had just ended, so it was the latest sound report. And the sound is also noteworthy. As the title suggests, it was recorded on a smartphone, so it cannot be advertised as “excellent and transcendental”, but it should never be underestimated. While absorbing a little air, the core that penetrates the center is solid and dense, and Mick’s vocals are clear enough to hear every word of the lyrics. Even so, it is not enough to interfere with the performance, and it is a fine recording of the type in which the hall sound is transformed into brilliance and on-site spectacle. The brilliant sound depicts a full show with rare songs. Let’s organize the set here. Fixed songs: Tumbling Dice/You Can’t Always Get What You Want/Living In A Ghost Town/Start Me Up/Honky Tonk Women/Miss You/Midnight Rambler/Paint It Black/Sympathy For The Devil/Jumping Jack Flash/Gimme Shelter/(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction Daily songs: Keith Corner: Connection/Slipping Away Other: Street Fighting Man/Let’s Spend the Night Together/19th Nervous Breakdown/Shattered (★)/She’s A Rainbow (★) *Note: The above is based on the set information up to the Atlanta performance (11/11). The “★” marks the songs that will be appearing for the first time in 2021. …And so it goes. What a magnificent set. “Street Fighting Man,” “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” and “19th Nervous Breakdown” are lined up as “daily” or “semi-fixed” songs, and Keith Corner also has the tour staples “Connection” and “Slipping Away” firmly supporting them. Adding to this solid foundation are “Shattered” and “She’s a Rainbow,” which are finally making their first appearance on the tour! The requested “She’s a Rainbow” is a rare song that also features a highlight from Chuck Leavell, who is a local Atlanta member, and “Shattered” is beautifully reborn with Steve Jordan’s beat. In fact, there were a series of disappointing shows in the second half of the tour, such as in Dallas, where they were cursed by rain, and in Las Vegas, where they were unable to return to their best form. However, after a good rest in Atlanta, they performed well for the first time in a long time. This is a sound report that allows you to experience the scene in full as soon as possible with superb sound. A live album has been released that reports on the 11th performance of the “NO FILTER Tour”, which is running through 2021. This live album has a clear sound that you wouldn’t think was recorded on a smartphone, and you can enjoy “Shattered” and “She’s A Rainbow”, which will be appearing for the first time on the tour.
