Description

Items using early CDs such as the Target and Export Japan editions are always well received. Along with these early CD items, items using the Nimbus CD (used only for the first pressing) that was re-released in the US in 1994 after the Stones moved to Virgin are also very popular. And this time we will introduce “Emotional Rescue”. This album was released in June 1980. It may seem a little weak because it was released between the big hit albums “Women” and “Tattooed Man”. However, as an album, it is in no way inferior to those albums. Recording began in September 1978 and was completed in December 1979, but it is a well-known episode that the release was delayed due to trouble with the record company they were affiliated with at the time over the recording of “Claudine”. Also, like “Black and Blue” and “Women”, this album starts with a funk disco song as the opening number, so it can also be interpreted as the work that concludes the Stones’ 70s. Now, as for the sound quality, the remaster was done by Bob Ludwig and the pressing plant was Nimbus, so there’s nothing else to say. Taken from US Nimbus CD (Virgin – 7243-8-39523-2-8, Rolling Stones Records – 7243-8-39523-2-8) 1. Dance (Pt. 1) 2. Summer Romance 3. Send It To Me 4. Let Me Go 5. Indian Girl 6. Where The Boys Go 7. Down In The Hole 8. Emotional Rescue 9. She’s So Cold 10. All About You
