Description

Captain Acid has compiled and remastered the sound source of the first show in Brussels from the sound source of the Stones’ beloved European 73 radio broadcast “King Biscuit Flower Hour,” commonly known as KBFH. The concept of compiling the first show in Brussels on one disc was created more than 20 years ago with VGP’s classic masterpiece “THE LOST BRUSSELS,” but this time, a maniac has reconstructed it based on the KBFH 1988 broadcast version. Although the sound quality itself is inferior to the new generation masterpiece “EUROPEAN TOUR 1973: KBFH BROADCASTS 1974 & 1988,” which continues to reign as the definitive version of the KBFH sound source of Europe 73, the mastering that emphasizes this clarity is also quite attractive. The approach is similar to the finish of the best-selling “TEMPE 1981: RUFF MIXES,” which is unique to the Captain Acid remaster. The original title was the net title he released as “L’AFFAIRE DE BRUXELLES”. The main KBFH part was remastered based on the 4-channel mix of “KBFH QUAD REEL” which was previously very popular as a gift. Indeed, by using this version, it is possible to “compose the first show take of Brussels from the 70’s broadcast version”. In other words, it is now possible to record “Gimme Shelter” and “Happy” from the first show, which are generally well known for their 1988 broadcast, in the rare 70’s 4-channel mix broadcast version. It seems that the concept of “Captain Acid” was to remove the vintage feel from such 70’s broadcasts. It is true that the natural feeling was diminished because of this, but it is also true that thanks to this, it has been reborn as a finish that is suitable for everyone. Of course, the “Star Star” that was not broadcast was also recorded from an audience recording this time, and it was compensated for by the VGP “NASTY MUZIK” which released the Aud full-length version of the same show. “Captain Acid” This compensation also has an exquisite switch to the radio broadcast “Dancing with Mr.D”, and although the difference in sound quality is difficult to do anything about, it is still a finish that is enjoyable enough. Again, the sound quality does not reach the level of “EUROPEAN TOUR 1973: KBFH BROADCASTS 1974 & 1988”, but it is still a literal “easy Brussels” that you can listen to the whole album at the first show in Brussels!
