Description

Even though it’s almost been a month since its completion, I can’t help but feel the afterglow of “2019 No Filter.” A spectacular digest video of the scene will be released. This work was filmed at “Glendale performance on August 26, 2019.” This is an audience shot recorded at the final show, one day before the tour Chiakiraku. Its quality is excellent. This video was created by an overseas fan by combining several shots, but the main camera, which takes up the majority of it, is extremely close! The shooting position was right next to the flower path set up in the center of the stage. Moreover, since it is closer to the main stage than the end of the flower path, the stage can be viewed directly with no obstructions. And above all, Mick passing through the flower path! It’s so close that you can’t help but reach for the monitor, giving you the feeling of being right in front of your eyes. What’s more, it features and edits scenes that give you a sense of that closeness. In fact, several songs were cut, including “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Dead Flowers,” and Keith Corner’s “You Got the Silver” and “Before They Make Me Run.” Four songs are not included. Although it is about 90 minutes in total and you cannot experience the full show, there are a series of scenes where you can enjoy Mick’s appearance. The camera work only follows Mick on the flower path and doesn’t forcefully aim at the highlights, but that’s why the sense of stability and experience is delicious. The audio that enhances the visuals is also wonderful. Although it is not the type that can be mistaken for a sound board, the thick core has a sufficient response, and although it picks up some ringing, it does not become cloudy or muddy and the details are vivid. Despite being up close, you won’t be bothered by nearby screams, and the experience of being able to clearly understand every single word of the lyrics is wonderful. Such a recent main camera occupies most of this work, but it is in the middle of several songs that it switches to a different angle. First of all, this day’s requested song “Get Off of My Cloud”. A new lyric video was also created prior to the tour, but this Grandale performance was the only one played in 2019. Perhaps because of that special feeling, a panoramic shot of the gigantic screen is inserted from the middle of the song (although the final part of the song is not recorded). And, the next B stage “Sweet Virginia” is also a different angle. This is probably for ease of viewing. The B stage, which cannot be seen in the shadows with the main camera, is clearly captured from a distance with no obstructions. As expected, the performers are small because they are not zoomed in, but there is a huge screen at the rear of the garden so you can see what the performance is like. It’s also a great angle that shows the mood of the five people performing under simple lighting. This is a spectacular shot where you can experience “2019 No Filter” right next to the flower path. It is a shame that Return Return is not a full recording, but it is definitely a video work with a naked eye sensation that allows you to look at Mick from an enviably close distance.
