Description
In June 2017, the band released their first album in 25 years, Is This The Life We Really Want?, and the 10th performance of the North American tour “US + THEM TOUR 2017” was held in Glendale, Arizona on June 14th. This 135-minute live performance was recorded in full from the high-quality digital audience master. Apart from some sound distortion in “Picture That” and “Wish You Were Here,” the quality is perfect, and the highlights are the huge Battersea Power Station that appears with a roar and “Pigs (Three Different Ones),” which mocks President Trump. In the middle of the album, songs such as “When We Were Young,” “Deja Vu,” “The Last Refugee,” and “Picture That” are also performed, showing their ongoing stance. As for Floyd numbers, while the previous year saw the band re-performing most of “Fire” and “Animals,” which was a hot topic, this tour also includes “Another Brick in the Wall Part 3,” which was not performed the previous year, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
