Description
The band’s 1994 Japan tour included six shows, and the third day, April 24, was recorded at Yokohama Arena, using professional shot footage from the TV on-air master at the time, for an hour and a half. Although it was recorded analog on VHS due to the era, the picture and sound quality was excellent, and the audio was in stereo, which was rare for television broadcasts at the time, and the quality of the video was slightly inferior to today’s digital broadcasts. And since it was right after “UNPLUGGED…AND SEATED,” the live performance had an adult and calm mood, opening with an unplugged version of “Hot Legs,” and then featuring mandolins and fiddles, and performing classic songs from the Faces era, from “Cut Across Shorty” to “All For Love,” which was provided for the 1993 Disney movie, in an adult atmosphere. In addition, a Japanese orchestra is used as backing for songs such as “Handbags and Gladrags,” and the gorgeous ensemble is also superb. On the other hand, the usual rock taste is revived from around “Tonight’s the Night.” This rare collector’s edition is full of highlights from start to finish.
