Description

Rod Stewart continued his annual “THE HITS Tour” in 2015, while also realizing a spot reunion of FACES. This superb video set features two iconic performances. This work features two iconic videos: a multi-camera professional shot of the “September 13, 2015 Hyde Park Performance (Solo)” coupled with a multi-camera audience shot of the “September 5, 2015 Heartwood Park Performance (Reunited FACES).” While the FACES reunion was a hot topic, the main focus at the time was still “THE HITS Tour.” To understand the situation, let’s first take a look at the schedule and overview of their activities at the time.・January 27th – February 15th: Las Vegas (9 shows) ・March 21st – April 14th: Oceania (11 shows) ・July 9th – 25th: North America (9 shows) ・July 31st – August 16th: Las Vegas (8 shows) *September 5th: FACES reunion ←★Second half of this album★ *September 13th: Hyde Park performance ←★First half of this album★ ・September 17th – 20th: Brazil (3 shows) ・October 3rd – 23rd: Promotional appearances (3 times) {“ANOTHER COUNTRY” released on October 23rd} ・October 28th – December 12th: Promotional appearances (7 times)This is Rod Stewart in 2015. 2015 is generally remembered as the year “ANOTHER COUNTRY” was released, but the tour was consistently “THE HITS Tour” without being separated by album. The two performances in this work were a return concert that was inserted during the concert. Let’s take a look at the two contrasting videos, each with their own unique meaning. First Half: Highlights and Pro Shots from the Solo Performance. The main focus of this work is the multi-camera pro shots from the solo performance at Hyde Park on September 13, 2015. The key point here is the super high quality. Pro shots have been a staple since the prestigious BBC-sponsored festival, and this work is the highest peak update. Its true identity is a rebroadcast master distributed this year (2015). While it’s a roughly 60-minute highlight version, what’s surprising is the visual beauty. Speaking of 2015, we were already in the digital heyday, but the progress over the past 10 years has been significant, and the footage from that time looks somewhat inferior when viewed with today’s eyes. However, this work does not have that. Even the finer details are clear, and the natural color reproduction feels almost like the naked eye. While it’s not particularly advertised, it may have been remastered. This visual beauty depicts a lavish selection of classic hits worthy of the name “THE HITS Tour.” While the tour also includes the smash hit “Can’t Stop Me Now” from their previous album, “TIME,” and the upcoming new track “Please” from “ANOTHER COUNTRY,” the core of the tour is a diverse set of ’70s hits. There are no two songs from the same album, making for a diverse set. Second Half: Superb Multi-Camera Footage of the Reunited FACES. Following this superb professional shot is the much-anticipated reunited FACES. From 2009 to 2012, they performed without Rod, but now Rod has finally joined them. They took the stage as they should. Moreover, the quality of the footage conveying the scene is also incredible. While the footage is multi-camera edited utilizing audience shots, the frequent close-ups are almost pro-shot. Rod and Ron Wood are the main focus, with their upper bodies so large they hang off the screen. The editing style also utilizes these super close-ups. When moving between Ron and Rod, the camera shifts to a full-view angle without panoramic horizontal shots. In other words, the camera shifts from “Ron’s Close-Up” to “Full View” to “Rod’s Close-Up” without scrolling, making it seem as if there were multiple zoom cameras. The audio is also excellent, matching the scenery. While it’s not as close as you’d expect from a soundboard, it’s incredibly clear, down to every word of the lyrics. The chorus, filled with the joy of this historic revival, is expansive and deeply moving. This is a superb professional shot of a solo performance that seems to have staked its prestige on the BBC, and a multi-camera audience of the memorable reunited FACES. While the video’s unique character and live performance are polar opposites, both are “ultra-high quality.” This is a truly exceptional coupling piece, worthy of commemorating the 10th anniversary of the show. Multi-camera pro shot of “September 13, 2015 Hyde Park Performance (Solo)” / Multi-camera audience of “September 5, 2015 Heartwood Park Performance (Reunited FACES)”. Solo’s Hyde Park Pro Shot is the highest peak updated master by the latest rebroadcast in 2025, and the spectacle of the highlight performance is tremendous, and the reunited FACES audience is a master’s work that makes full use of professional-level close-ups. It is a video masterpiece that allows you to enjoy two special lectures with special visual beauty. Hyde Park, London, England 13th September 2015 1. Every Beat Of My Heart 2.
