Description
From the 1989 US tour accompanying the release of “OUT OF ORDER”, the performance in Costa Mesa, California on September 15th was recorded over a period of 2 hours and 4 minutes from the master audience tape owned by the legendary taper Mike Millard, which was recently unearthed for the first time. First of all, the original master of the Millard tape, which has been released one after another in recent years, is the world’s first release of this sound source released on the web this time, and due to the evolution of the recording equipment used, it is of course a wonderful sound quality that does not disgrace the name of the Millard master. And since this “OUT OF ORDER” tour was a long one, the set list changed considerably depending on the time, and after this summer, the number of covers of R&B standards increased, but here, while introducing some from the 70s, the main focus is on original songs from the 80s and later. Also, Rod was in top form, with high tension from the opening, and the band’s performance was full of momentum, and especially in “Lost In You”, you can hear high-tension shouts, and the performance was full of rock singers.
