Robert Cray, who has been strongly influenced by Memphis soul and Texas blues and has pursued his own contemporary blues sound since the 1980s, appeared at the event festival “Non-COMM 2017” held in Philadelphia on May 19, 2017. This performance was recorded in master quality and professional shot footage from a webcast on air. This was also a promotion for Cray’s new project, Robert Cray & Hi-Rhythm, which released an album under the project name in April, so all the songs performed on this day were from the same album.
