Description

From the 1979 US tour accompanying the release of “AZURE D’OR”, the last of the original members of the second period, they held a performance at the Lenox Tanglewood Music Center in Massachusetts on July 17th, an amazing performance at the time. Almost complete recording from the audience master, which can be said to be of high quality. “AZURE D’OR”, which presented a new direction with the introduction of polyphonic synthesizers, shifted from the blockbuster-oriented direction to a pop route, and was an album that received mixed reviews, including “Jekyll & Hyde”. ”, “Forever Changing”, “Secret Mission”, and “The Floods of Lyon”. It is a wonderful performance that can be said to be the pride of British progressive rock, surviving powerfully with an orthodox sound in the era of new wave.In particular, in the second half, they played large songs of 10 to 20 minutes such as “Shiki”, Overwhelm the audience with a strong ensemble and dramatic performance. And throughout the entire album, Annie Haslam’s vocals with outstanding presence are truly moving. DISC ONE : 1. The Vultures Fly High/2. The Day Of The Dreamer/3. Jekyll & Hyde/4. Northern Lights/5.
