Ramones/Pleasant Dream Demos

This is a compilation of rare recordings, such as outtakes and alternate takes, from the recording sessions of the band’s sixth original album “PLEASANT DREAMS,” released in 1981, in master quality and soundboard quality provided by those involved. First of all, this album is more of a power pop sound than the punk sound of the band up until then, and while it was generally underrated, it also includes “THE KKK TOOK MYBABY AWAY,” a standard song for later live performances, as well as pop melody numbers that show the band’s love for American pop, and hasty punk beat numbers reminiscent of their early days.
