We have prepared a super powerful original live album. This work contains the “Birmingham performance on June 28, 2017”. He lives in London and reports on all “British Now” from Paul McCartney to maniac prog. And speaking of “masters”, he is a recording artist whose unique feature is the combination of a realistic atmosphere and modern clarity through DAT recording. That personality is also alive in this work, but this time the weight is on “clearness”. Richie’s melting tone, Ronnie Romero’s heroic singing voice, the colorful phrases of Jens Johansson, the rhythm section that becomes more powerful with each performance… All of them have a clear core and are beautifully recorded. However, there was an unfortunate flaw. That was about two minutes of missing recording in the intro of the final song “Smoke On The Water”. It seems that the day was unexpectedly long, and the timing of the exchange was missed. It’s probably a mistake to say that Kobo was right, even though he had captured the sound so far… In this work, such a “near miss!” is complemented by the superb sound of “BIRMINGHAM 2017 REMASTER”, achieving a seamless and complete recording. Both have superb sound and a natural finish that is difficult to understand even if you say it due to the precise mastering. The Birmingham performance was the most moving night of “21st Century RAINBOW” due to the presence of the miraculous masterpiece “Carry On… Jon”.
