Description
The final day of the 1997 US tour, March 19th, California, was held at a club called Edge in Palo Alto, California, and the live performance was recorded for 101 minutes with a good audience shot. The footage was shot on a tripod at the back of the venue, so it was very stable, and the cameraman was very familiar with the band and music, so when the guitar solo came, Richie’s hands were up, and each member’s performance was also great. The audio was also of high quality and the sound was clear throughout, with plenty of Richie’s crisp playing. Everything was great from the opening Spotlight Kid, and Richie was playing in a good mood, and although there were many places where he missed the notes, that unique tone was solid. Also, Greg Smith’s technical bass solo and John’s powerful drum solo in Still I’m Sad are good. Furthermore, on this day, a section of Gates Of Babylon was performed as a prelude to Temple Of The King, but only vocals, and the performance was refreshing, full of lively and wild charm that was different from the sense of consistency and stylized beauty.
