Description
Complete recording of the Tulsa, Oklahoma performance on October 16th from the US tour accompanying “CONDITION CRITICAL” in 1984 with the finest stereo soundboard recording. As is typical of this period, this set includes half and half the numbers from the blockbuster hit “METAL HEALTH” and the following new work “CONDITION CRITICAL.” Like the new album, the opening starts with a bang from Sign Of The Times. The best sample of 80’s clean, melodic heavy metal with a strong bottom. The impressive vocals of the late Kevin Dubrow and the band ensemble made up of skilled players are truly amazing, and I am still amazed that Quiet Riot was such an excellent live band. In addition, the sound is recorded using the highest quality stereo line, and the sound is so good that it can be officially released as is. Rudy Sarzo’s bass is recorded very clearly, and you can feel the outstanding groove of the lead bass in every song. Carlos Cavazo’s melodic solos and the steady drumming of master Frankie Banali are also impressive. And above all, Kevin’s extremely stable and top-level vocal performance was so amazing that I was keenly aware that he was one of the top vocalists, including the MC who entered the audience. The part in the second half of the show that combines Cum On Feel The Noize, Mama Weer All Crazee Now, and Metal Health is a masterpiece. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a highly recommended album for all metal fans. Live at Tulsa Assembly Hall, Tulsa, OK. USA 16th October 1984 STEREO SBD 1. Sign Of The Times 2.
