Description
On August 14, 2014, Queen + Adam Lambert stood on stage at the “Supersonic Festival” in Seoul, South Korea, which was held just before the Japan performance “Summer Sonic”. Completely recorded. This is Queen’s first Korean performance, which is a memorable one, but the main feature of this album is that the sound is good. We have released high-quality titles from the North American tour so far, but there is no doubt that this Seoul performance version has the best sound. Although the cheers are recorded as loud as they are, it is within the acceptable range, and above all, it is definitely the first time that the musical tone is so firmly included directly. Moreover, despite the stage being held in the same festival format as in Japan, the performance time was over 2 hours, almost the same as the North American tour, a full set. The Show Must Go On has been omitted as in Japan, but instead I played the first tour I Was Born To Love You. If you listen to the fact that this song is as popular as it is in Japan, you can tell that it is also popular in Korea. What I’m really jealous of is that they’re playing a full set, but there are time constraints in Japan, so Somebody To Love and Who Wants To Live Forever are only available in Osaka, and In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited. could only be heard in Tokyo, but in Seoul they played all of them, as well as Roger’s father-son drum battle, the popular Dragon Attack (Adam misses the beginning of the song), Brian’s long guitar solo, He also performs Tie Your Mother Down, which is sure to be a big hit. Before Somebody To Love, Adam incites the audience, “It’s Queen’s first show!” Before Love Of My Life, Brian greeted fans in a few Korean words and created a friendly mood, much to the delight of his fans. In ’39, during the excitement before entering the second verse of the song, Brian shouted “Seoul Korea!” and even changed the ending to “We will rock in Korea”, and continued to say thank you in Korean after the performance. Tie Your Mother Down, who did not perform in Japan, also performed the same “All Your Love Tonight” interaction with the audience as in North America. Adam paid lip service to the excited Korean fans, saying, “They’re better than the American fans.” The weather seemed to be good, and the stage content was something that Japanese fans would be envious of, but it was amazing to see that the full set show representing the Asia tour was recorded in the neighboring country of South Korea with such excellent sound. It can be said that we Japanese fans are also lucky. The sound was originally very good, but as the show progressed it got better and better, especially the second half, which was recorded with an amazing sound that can be considered the highest peak of Queen’s bootlegs in history. I have never heard Bohemian Rhapsody sound so good, including the opera tape part in the middle. A highly recommended 2-disc title that allows you to enjoy the best live performance with the best sound.
