Description
QUEEN + Adam Lampert’s “THE RHAPSODY TOUR” is becoming very popular due to the rush of recording masterpieces. The super exquisite and shocking original IEMs album is now available! Anyway, I was surprised. Currently, QUEEN + Adam’s best recordings and videos are appearing one after another, but all of them are concert records. Although there are differences in quality, the content of the performances can be heard somewhere. However, this work is completely different. It is a treasure album that contains not the main part of the concert, but the sound check that was held on the day before it. [Superb IEMs with official quality] This work was recorded at “Saitama Super Arena on January 25, 2020.” Currently, there are countless live albums, and definitive edition titles have also appeared. To avoid confusion, first check the recording date on the Japan tour schedule. ・January 25th: Saitama Super Arena ←★Here★ ・January 26th: Saitama Super Arena ・January 28th: Kyocera Dome Osaka ・January 30th: Nagoya Dome A total of 4 performances. The recording date for this work was the first day of “Tamaari”, which had two consecutive performances. This work records the sound check on that day, but it is actually an IEMs recording that we obtained through our own route. It is an original master that is not available anywhere else on the internet and can never be heard other than this work. And, the quality is also of the highest quality. Speaking of IEMs, we talk about earphone audio that members and related parties listen to while working. It is not uncommon for the sound to be thin because it is not intended to be heard by an outsider at all, but this work is extremely thick and super clear. Although there are some disturbances in reception, there are only a few parts of the phone, and the live sound of the sound check flows into my ears. Of course, since it’s a behind-the-scenes sound, there’s no polishing stage, but in terms of sound quality, it’s definitely an official-grade soundboard (conversations between staff members are also recorded at a high volume, so when listening with headphones, (Please be careful of the volume.) [Sound check on the day where a shocking performance pops out] And the contents are amazing. It starts with “Drums Check” where Roger himself sings and plays the drums, but the main songs are “I Was Born To Love You (6 takes)” and “Hand in Hand (3 takes)”. Both are limited numbers that are only performed in Japan, and they are practicing even on the day of the performance. Particularly amazing is “I Was Born To Love You.” At first, we practiced phrases (2 takes) with half of the guitar and keyboard playing together. After that, the whole band will perform (4 takes). This is so real that it makes me dizzy. I guess he hasn’t played it in the four years since his last visit to Japan, but Brian’s guitar is very dangerous. The phrases are confusing and the song structure is vague. On the day of the performance, in this condition, I was able to finish it like that in the actual performance… It’s a play that makes me feel strangely moved. Adam is the one leading the rehearsal scene. Not only did they listen to their wonderful live vocals, but they also repeated the encouraging words while chatting (they also talked about their first visit to Japan, “SUMMER SONIC”), and when Brian got into a good mood, they chanted “Huu!”. With great admiration, Nose finishes his performance. Brian and Roger refer to Adam as “a gift from God,” not only as a singer/performer, but also as an organizer who drove the band. You can even see behind the scenes. Furthermore, Brian practices “Hand in Hand,” “Love of My Life,” and “’39” alone, and checks out “Doing All Right” with the band. In the actual performance, there was a synchronization of Freddie’s video and Brian’s performance at the end of “Love of My Life”, and we have confirmed that part as well. In any case, it is extremely valuable and of the highest quality. A sound check that is much more vivid than the usual fan service public sound check, and allows you to see the band behind the scenes. This is a treasure album that allows you to peek into the scene with official line sound. Currently, superb live albums that ensure the record of wonderful shows are appearing one after another, but this work is sure to grab the attention at once. 2020 has just begun, but you may never hear a title like this again… Such a shocking CD Original In-Ear Monitor Recording Saitama Super Arena, Saitama, Japan 25th January 2020 (75:50) 1 Drums Check 2.
