The first 4-disc set of the Kanto edition that I reported the other day, “SAITAMA SUPER ARENA 2020,” was beautiful but had a sound wrapped in an audience-like sound, but this work is completely naked at its core and approaches your hands. There is no mistaking it for a sound board because the evidence of the audience is engraved in the vivid sense of the scene and the sound of the snare tone, but it is comparable to a sound board in terms of clarity. It’s a super clear and direct feeling that makes you wonder, “This is a dome recording!?” In fact, there is a reason why such a fastball sound was achieved. This is an original recording of this work that was given directly by the recording artist himself, but the recording position is extremely close to the stage. It’s the fourth row from the front. Of course, it’s not as simple as “front seats = the best sound”, and if the echoes come around, it will actually get worse. However, there is no such worry in this work. It seems to pick up the PA sound directly, and there is almost no ringing component in the straight core. Moreover, the loud cheers and loud choruses are carried from behind, and do not come between the sound of the performance. Instead, it is a live album where you can fully immerse yourself in the “sounds of QUEEN and Adam” so powerfully that even the enthusiasm that is unique to the front is close, but even that is suppressed.
