Description
“THE RHAPSODY TOUR” is being held in an unprecedentedly successful mood. A live album that allows you to witness the hot scene with the best sound is now available. This work includes “Mansfield performance on August 4, 2019”. This is an audience recording that records the whole story. “THE RHAPSODY TOUR” is a world tour that the whole world has been waiting for since the release of the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and this week is the first release of the trifecta. We will leave the overall picture of the tour to the explanation of “WASHINGTON 2019” which will be released at the same time, but here we will focus on the “North American leg” which is currently in progress and organize the positional relationship of each title. ・July 10th-28th (10 performances) ・July 30th “WASHINGTON 2019” ・July 31st + August 3rd (2 performances) ・August 4th: Mansfield performance ←★This work★・August 6th-10th (4 performances), August 13th “COLUMBUS 2019”, August 15th-18th (3 performances)>>Now here<<・August 20th-23rd (3 performances) This is now North American tour in progress. A total of 25 performances were scheduled, and this Mansfield performance was the 14th concert. The biggest point of this work is the superb sound. What’s amazing about it is its strong core. Anyway, it’s on and there’s no sense of distance, it’s coming right in front of me. It is the most soundboard-like recording among the three titles released simultaneously this week, and you can hardly feel the hall sound. This sound was achieved more than anything else by the skill of the recording artist, but the venue was probably also a factor. The “Xfinity Center” where the event took place is a wide open space at the rear. Although there is a ceiling in “Section 8”, the recording position, there are no walls on the sides or back, so the sound does not bounce back. It directly picks up the sound emitted from the PA. Although it has a very line-like sound, this work is definitely an audience recording. The proof of that is the passionate mood on set! This is already incredibly hot. To be honest, I can almost pick up some screams at the beginning, but even that feels like the 80s! The cheers and chorus were very loud. Moreover, it is amazing because its thickness is clear. As I mentioned earlier, there was no response at this venue. Every voice in the chorus is clear and you can see that each person sings the lyrics clearly. The fibers become a single thread and spin into a thread, and the thread is bundled into a rope. Despite the thick chorus, Adam’s singing voice doesn’t lose any of it and he drags the rope by force. I forgot to write about it because of the choral spectacle, but the performers such as guitar, bass, and drums are as thick as the sound board as well as the vocals. The performance sound, Adam’s singing voice, and the chorus are the best, just like the official work, and the large chorus is also extremely clear. This spectacle… well, it’s like being in a movie theater showing a screaming movie. With that sound, you can enjoy plenty of QUEEN’s famous songs, but the most amazing one is the complete version “Bohemian Rhapsody”. This is… amazing. Too amazing. It starts with an a cappella part before the ballad part, and the tape has a very thick sound, and the chorus numbering 10,000 sings and sings! Sing!! The super clear chorus where even each individual voice is not blurred by the echoes is like a studio recording chorus work swelled hundreds of times, and it pierces through the whole song. I don’t remember such a super spectacular “Bohemian Rhapsody”. I don’t know if they made the full version with this effect in mind, but I can’t help but feel a tingle in my skin. In fact, compared to the other two albums released at the same time this week, there is one less song, “Bicycle Race.” However, the superb sound and enthusiasm of this work more than make up for it. Direct sound with zero repercussions, and a huge chorus that is unique to 2019, which is a movie. QUEEN + Adam has put on great shows so far, but this tour is on a different level. The success of the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” is why the current popularity of QUEEN is so amazing…This is a masterpiece of a live album that shows the reality with its transcendental sound. A storyteller’s album that will testify to future generations that “2019 was the heyday.” Live at Xfinity Center, Mansfield, MA, USA 4th August 2019 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(71:07) 1. Intro (Innuendo) 2.
