The most famous “April 25, 1979: Nippon Budokan” performance of the popular “JAZZ JAPAN TOUR”. A major decision board that updates the longest and highest peak is now available. This show became famous when it was later broadcast on TV, but this work uses professional shots, soundboards, and even two types of audience recordings to vacuum pack the day at its highest quality. . This is a 3-disc set of “2 full live albums + professional shot DVD”. [Disc 1-2: Full live album with SBD + first appearance AUD] Above, 15 performances in total. It was the largest tour in their history of coming to Japan, and the Nippon Budokan of this work was the 8th performance in the middle of it. This show is most famous for its professional shots that were broadcast in Japan. However, what was broadcast was about 32 minutes of 11 songs, which was far from a full show. This work takes full advantage of the sound board audio and supplements the unaired parts with masterpiece audience recordings. It is a full live album that conveys the complete form of the show. Moreover, the sound board used and the audience recording used for supplementation are not just things. The most shocking thing is the audience recording. In fact, it is a new recording that will appear for the first time in the world! Moreover, it was recorded by the same recording artist who recorded the 1985 treasure “AT LAST BUDOKAN”, and it is a masterpiece created from the original cassette. Speaking of this day’s highest peak recording, it will be “DREAMER’S BALL” which became popular at our store, but this master goes even further. Although it is a real sound that absorbs the enthusiasm of the peak, the performance sound and singing voice that cut through the enthusiasm are neat and clear. Although it doesn’t feel up close, you can jump straight into your hands without being disturbed by the yellow chirping voice, and you can clearly see even the subtleties. And the soundboard is also unusual. Basically, it is a sound board sound source for TV broadcasting, but it was carefully selected from many top masters. Of course, the high quality is the pinnacle, but what was equally important was the compatibility with the newly discovered audience. Uses recording that minimizes the discomfort of matching. Furthermore, they are carefully polished and connected through mastering. An outstanding audience recording that I never thought existed, and a sound board with a similar balance. To be honest, I had to hesitate to combine the “DREAMER’S BALL” master with a sound board, but with the appearance of the two masters, a complete live album was realized. Of course, since it was a cassette recording at that time, cuts due to tape changes were inevitable. I was able to capture most of it on the soundboard, but some cheering parts (after the end of Let Me Entertain You, Somebody To Love, Don’t Stop Me Now) were missing, so those parts were not included in DREAMER’S Supplemented with “BALL” master. With 3 types: “Broadcast Soundboard + New Audience + DREAMER’S BALL”, the show is completely recorded seamlessly without missing a second, from the “We Will Rock You” tape that announces the start of the performance to “God Save The Queen”. is. It’s great to be able to fully experience the show with a series of top-notch sounds, but there are also some interesting ways to enjoy it and surprising discoveries. For example, “Let Me Entertain You.” I casually listened to both the TV pro shot and the audience recording, but when I synchronized it accurately, the second half of the TV pro shot, “1:48-2:44” was completely cut out. It was suddenly connected to the ending. Similarly, the drum solo of “Keep Yourself Alive” has been edited short, and “We Will Rock You” is even more interesting. Brian’s guitar comes in at the end, but for some reason he keeps playing the guitar solo a half step higher. The next song “We Are The Champions” is correct, so (probably) this was Brian’s mistake, not Roadie’s. In the broadcast, most of the solos that were out of tune were cut out, but they were edited to make up for it with a good introduction and ending. Both exciting mistakes and extremely skillful editing will be revealed by the combination of sound board and audience. [Disc 3: The highest version of the classic professional shot] In addition to such a full live album, this work also includes the highest version of the classic professional shot. Of course, this video is a compilation of “The Live QUEEN Live at Budokan PART? & II”, which was broadcast twice for about 15 minutes each in the late-night slot of a certain commercial broadcasting station in the early 1980s. It is a classic among the classics that has produced countless previous releases, but this work is a version that was also loved as “BUDOKAN 1979” in 2002. It is an original master that has never been surpassed to this day. Although it is a video that has been loved by many fans, it is also a fantasy. After all, this video was only broadcast once in the early 1980s. It was good until I recorded the Budokan live with a professional shot, but Freddie Mercury, who was not satisfied with the performance of the show, decided not to release it to the public. Normally, it would have been buried in the darkness of history, but a few years later, a Japanese broadcast station aired it in its late-night slot. However, since it is an NG video, there is no official archive, and there is no rebroadcast. Until now, it has only been broadcast once. And it was broadcast in the early 1980s. Although home video was gradually becoming more popular, there were still very few people who could easily record late-night programs. Given that era, there are only a few recordings left. It is a video that maniacs have watched as if they were chewing on each gene one by one. In 2002, that history came to an end. This work is a direct digitization of the original master recorded at the time of broadcast, without any dubbing. What’s more, the equipment used to record the video was of professional quality that would be impossible for ordinary households to use. At a time when very few people were able to record, it was an unexpectedly professional record. The quality of this work is proof of that. The fact is that it is an “80s air check,” but the image and sound quality are not quite what you would associate with that word. The visual beauty is so detailed that it can be used not only for current broadcasts, but also for official works, and is as fresh and beautiful as if it had been reprinted from a laser disc. Roger Taylor’s blond hair, the glitter of Freddie’s red outfit, the rays of the spotlight…and above all, the coolness of the sunglasses and black leather! Every single particle, down to the telop of the opening theme, “The Live QUEEN Live at Budokan,” is clearly detailed. In addition, two types of superb soundboards are also included, covering all the top records of the day. It is truly a masterpiece pro shot that cannot be surpassed. There used to be a professional shot DVD and a sound board CD called “BUDOKAN 1979,” but this work expands that CD version to full scale with the first appearance audience recording. This is a huge masterpiece that has been scaled up and revived, which was sold out. Also, from a different perspective, this work can be said to be the last of the Japanese trilogy. Its sister works are “DEFINITIVE SEIBU STADIUM 1982” and “DEFINITIVE FINAL CONCERT IN TOKYO”. Both live albums, which complemented the Japanese performance soundboard with the finest audience recordings, were very well received. This work is the 1979 version. It is the last one of the three remaining “Japanese sound board complete trilogy”. This 3-disc set is a must-have for those who are having trouble getting their hands on the out-of-print masterpiece “BUDOKAN 1979” and for those who are interested in a newly discovered audience. It is also an interesting point that both exciting mistakes and extremely skillful editing are revealed by the combination of the sound board and audience.
