Description
A new one-camera professional shot video from the 1979 “JAZZ Tour” performance in Japan is here, which will be released for the first time in Japan. First of all, this amazing video was taken on April 24th at the Nippon Budokan by the band’s roadie at the time from the side of the stage for recording purposes. A 20-minute portion of the video has been distributed in the past, but this time it is about an hour long. Also, since it was a handheld one-camera at the time, it is not a professional shot for broadcasting, but the camera footage from a close distance that only those involved can get is astonishing. There are still some songs that have not been recorded, the video is distorted due to tape deterioration in the final songs “We Are The Champions” and “God Save The Queen”, and there are cuts in “Death On Two Legs” and “Teo Torriatte”, but the image quality itself is not that bad, and the most surprising thing is the sound, which is not recorded by the camera microphone, but is synchronized with the stereo sound board sound source that was recorded directly from the mix desk, and the sound is of official bootleg level. It is also well known that this was the fifth performance at the Nippon Budokan during their visit to Japan, and was also broadcast on TV the following day, the 25th. Of course, this is a different broadcast date, so this title is a valuable video record that will be released to the world for the first time, making it a must-see collector’s edition for fans of the past.
