Description

A shocking new discovery from “THE WORKS JAPAN TOUR”, which was the last visit to Japan. A masterpiece live album that conveys the show that was an air pocket until now is now available for the first time in the world! The Air Pocket was a performance at the “May 13, 1985: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.” This is an audience recording that records the whole story. A masterpiece symbolizing the last Japan tour will be released all at once, so let’s organize it by schedule here as well. ・May 8: Nippon Budokan ・May 9: Nippon Budokan → “DEFINITIVE BUDOKAN 1985 2ND NIGHT” ・May 11: National Yoyogi Stadium → “DEFINITIVE FINAL CONCERT IN TOKYO” ・May 13: Aichi Prefecture Gymnasium [This work]・May 15th: Osaka Castle Hall → “DEFINITIVE OSAKA 1985”, all 5 performances. Of these, the top works of “May 9th,” “May 13th,” and “May 15th” will be released simultaneously this week. Among these, the Nagoya performance is the rarest. It’s not that I haven’t made any recordings in the past, but I have always had to be patient. There was no record of me being able to fully immerse myself in it. That history is over. Finally, a masterpiece recording of the Nagoya performance was finally discovered! That is this work. And it’s not just valuable. In fact, this work was recorded by Kinney, one of the most prestigious artists. A few years ago, our store reprinted Kinney’s original master in a series, but this work is the first Kinney excavation in a while. That sound is truly Kinney Magic. A fresh and beautiful sound world that is completely different from previous recordings. The performance was very strong and the singing voice reached the audience straight, and it was wonderful to be able to subdue the loud cheers that spread far away. Although the echoes from the venue were absorbed, the atmosphere shined crystal clear, giving a spectacle to the powerful singing voice while not hiding any details. Of course, not only the vocals but also the piano is detailed to the slightest touch, and the guitar and bass are vivid from the beginning of the first note to the moment of silence. If you have experienced the previous Kinney excavation series, you will be able to enjoy the fantastic Nagoya performance in that beautiful world! Moreover, the show at this Nagoya performance is amazing. The Tokyo performance is also known as a great performance, but the Nagoya performance is by far the best. What’s more amazing than anything is Freddy flying around in great shape. As soon as “Tie Your Mother Down” ended, the audience was in a state of incomprehensible high tension, saying, “Hallow, Nagoya! Konbanwa, Ikagadeska! Is Everybody happy? Is Everybody Under Control?” They continued to sing “Under Pressure” with great enthusiasm, and heard a tremendous increase in “Somebody To Love”. The momentum never fades from beginning to end, and the promised exchange after “It’s A Hard Life” continues to grow at an excellent pace. The audience’s response to this was also amazing. Until now, it was a recording that peeked at QUEEN who was beyond the audience’s enthusiasm, but you can finally feel the hot four people directly. Even more symbolic is “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” in the second half of the show. It was more vigorous than usual, and it continued for more than four minutes. Everything about Kinney Master was shocking, but unfortunately there was only one major flaw. That’s an incomplete recording. The recording ends the moment “Bohemian Rhapsody”, which is the highlight in the second half of the show, ends. This is due to the fact that it was recorded on a 90 minute tape. Of course, there was no way that QUEEN’s show could have ended in 90 minutes, and it was an unthinkable mistake from Kinney. Maybe I just happened to bring the wrong tape… This is just speculation, but it may have not been published until now because it was incomplete. The sound of the main part is so wonderful that I can only think so. This work is supplemented with another master even after “Radio Ga Ga” which was unrecorded. It has been completed in a perfect form that allows you to seamlessly enjoy a full show. Of course, the supplementary part falls two or three ranks, but this part has also been remastered and polished to the limit, making it as easy to listen to as possible. You can enjoy a panoramic view of lesser-known great performances, including Freddy’s long and satisfied greeting (the line “See you soon!” is heartbreaking). The last performance in Nagoya has been enjoyed only by enthusiasts who can overcome the sound quality barrier. This is a miraculous new excavation where you can enjoy it with Kinney’s super neat sound. No more patience. A live album with a beautiful sound that will enchant you just by listening to it, and a live album where you can fully immerse yourself in the unknown and passionate performances.
