Description

The famous recordings that have represented the Japanese performances of the “HOT SAPCE” era are now available in the highest quality. This work includes the “October 26, 1982: Nagoya International Exhibition Center” performance. This is the best audience recording. This record is truly a masterpiece. It is a famous recording that has been known for a long time, but it has been upgraded over time. In particular, “FIREDANCE” shocked maniacs around the world with the sound created by Low Gene Master, which far exceeded the previous releases. It caused a huge shock as soon as it appeared, and while it was extremely popular, it was sold out and discontinued. In this work, the impact master has been digitized again using 2018 equipment. It is the highest peak updated edition polished with meticulous mastering. This is something I’m curious about, but first of all, it’s Shaw’s position. Speaking of the 1982 Japan performance, the official video “LIVE IN JAPAN” is also symbolic, but let’s check it out in the schedule including that. ・October 19th: Fukuoka Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium ・October 20th: Fukuoka Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium ・October 24th: Kobe Nishinomiya Stadium ・October 26th: Nagoya International Exhibition Center [This work] ・October 29th : Hokkaido Industrial Exhibition Venue/November 3rd: Seibu Stadium Official “LIVE IN JAPAN” A total of 6 performances. The Nagoya performance of this work is the fourth performance that has progressed east from Fukuoka to Kobe. This work, which contains such a show, is clearly different from the previous releases from the moment of playback. “FIREDANCE” also recorded the show completely from just before the beat of “Flash” started flowing, but this work can be listened to from an additional minute and a half before. This is also a really good mood. It was just before the audience got excited, sensing the atmosphere of the show, and the temperature in the venue rose dramatically. The heat builds up in the number and intensity of the clapping, and a wave of excitement spreads out. The voices all over the venue were in high spirits, and there was even a strange person who was excited and shouted out his friend’s (?) name, “Shibata! Moriyama Hi○shi!” Then, a spacey and solemn synth rang out, and the venue erupted with a single cry of “Flash!” When the boiling point turned into “Rock It”, the true power of the great recording was demonstrated. There is no doubt that this is a real audience recording of the passionate enthusiasm, but the performance and singing voice that cut through the middle of it are wonderful! The straight core with no distortion, which is unique to Lowgene, is as sharp as a laser beam, and the air is transparent with no chattering or wraparound, giving the core a beautiful luster that does not hide the details. Although it is a little different from the type called “just like a sound board,” the robust performance sound drives the audience, and the enthusiasm does not interfere with Freddie’s singing voice. Reality and clarity, beauty and heat. Elements that could otherwise be contradictory enhance each other. A masterpiece recording that is a sample of an audience recording that is simply high-quality sound, but even more enjoyable to listen to. Moreover, as the show progresses, the slight hiss noise disappears neatly, and it gets better and better. And the show drawn with that sound is a series of highlights. The above-mentioned “Rock It” is the same, but the first half is fresh with “HOT SAPCE” numbers such as “Action This Day”, “Calling All Girls”, “Put Out The Fire”, and “Body Language”! As mentioned above, the 1982 Japan tour was also “LIVE IN JAPAN”, but this early scene was largely cut. Of course, not only the beginning but also the middle part of “Get Down, Make Love”, “Body Language”, “Fat Bottomed Girls”, and the final part of “Another One Bites The Dust”, etc., full of Japanese performances that you could not see in “LIVE IN JAPAN” Experience. In particular, the three songs “Rock It,” “Calling All Girls,” and “Body Language” are not only valuable on “HOT SPACE TOUR 1982,” but also cannot be heard on “QUEEN ON FIRE.” “1982” smells more intense than the official record. More than that, “Teo Torriatte” was a special moment that only existed in “1982 Nagoya.” As the intro to “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, Freddie calls for a chorus with an acoustic guitar in one hand, but it is a complete a cappella without any performance. Only Freddie’s singing voice and the loud chorus in response filled the venue. As a matter of fact, although Freddie of this Nagoya performance is not in the best condition, this a cappella version was not realized on this day and at this venue in the entire history of QUEEN. You can witness such a once-in-a-lifetime moment with clear and realistic superb sound. This is a beautiful moving piece that represents the highest peak of traditional recording. This famous album not only allows you to fully enjoy “HOT SPACE TOUR” which still feels fresh even now, but also allows you to experience the once-in-a-lifetime miraculous a cappella “Teo Torriatte”. ★The pitch was randomly faster by about 50-70% of a semitone, so it has been fixed.
