The Professionals, led by Steve Jones and Paul Cook, have released a new recording of their October 1981 Passaic performance in good stereo audience recording! The Professionals, formed by Steve Jones and Paul Cook after the Pistols fell apart, released a new recording of their October 17, 1981 live performance in Passaic, New Jersey, in good stereo audience recording! The sound quality is reasonably good for the time, and the pitch and positioning errors caused by the master have been carefully corrected and remastered, making it much clearer than the sound sources released online. This is a live performance just before the release of their debut album “I Didn’t See It Coming” in November of the same year, and the set list includes songs from the album, the debut single “Just Another Dream”, and the Pistols’ number “Silly Thing”. This is a rare live performance from the US tour, which was forced to be shortened due to injuries sustained by Cook, Myers, and Magway in a traffic accident!
