Description
~Professionals led by Steve Jones and Paul Cook, 1982 New Orleans performance recorded in good stereo audience recording! ~A good stereo audience recording of the May 12, 1982 live performance of The Professionals, formed by Steve Jones and Paul Cook after the Pistols disintegrated in the air, at Jimmy’s club in New Orleans. A treasured sound source has appeared! Even though it was recorded at a slightly distant position, the sound quality is well-balanced and stable, and the remastering allows you to enjoy the driving guitar even more clearly! During this period, they were also the opening act for The Clash’s tour, but the band soon disbanded, so this is their last recording, but it includes the Pistols era number “Silly Thing” and Elvis Presley’s hit number “Suspicious Minds”. The set list includes covers arranged in a punky rock’n’roll style, and the MC plays an extremely rare unreleased number, “Lonely Lonely,” which he calls “a number I’ve never played live before.” ! A light rock’n’roll number with a catchy melody and a sense of speed! I feel numb! ! 01 Little Boys 02.Madhouse 03.Just Another Dream 04.The Magnificent 05.Northern Slide 06.Too Far To Fall 07.Friday Night Square 08.All The Way 09.Suspicious Minds 10.Lonely Lonely 11.Kick Down The Doors 12 .Silly Thing 13.1-2-3 14.Join The Professionals 15.Payola Vocals/Guitar – Steve Jones Lead Guitar – Ray McVeigh Bass – Paul Myers Drums – Paul Cook
