Description

From the first US tour when “A Whiter Shade of Blue” became a worldwide hit in 1967 and attracted a lot of attention, the performance at Winterland in San Francisco on November 18th was recorded directly from the audience master recorded by the people involved at the time. Since it was recorded by the staff at the time, all of the performances were recorded in a complete set with very good audience recordings, and since it was one of the earliest live performances to be unveiled on the West Coast of the United States during the heyday of the Flower Movement, it can now be said to be a valuable historical recording source. It is also rare to hear the performance by the original lineup including Robin Trower and Matthew Fisher, and the set contents are different for the two shows, and new songs from the second album, which has not yet been released, are already being debuted, so there are many highlights to listen to. (FIRST SET) 01. Conquistador/02. She Wandered Through The Garden Fence/03. Monsieur Armand/04. Salad Days (Are Here Again)/05. Homburg/06. Cerdes (Outside The Gates Of)/07. Something Following Me/08. In The Wee Small Hours Of Sixpence/09. Going Down Slow/10. Kaleidoscope (SECOND SET)11. A Christmas Camel /12. Shine On Brightly/13. Homburg/14. Conquistador/15. A Whiter Shade Of Pale/16. Repent Walpurgis [Live At Winterland, San Francisco, CA, USA November 18th 1967]
