Prince/Work it V2.0 Vol.3

Work It is a compilation of outtakes made by Get Blue, who worked on the Anthology series. It was expected that the 3.0 version would be released, but there has been no release for over 10 years. This time, we will release the latest version, 2.0. Since it has been over 10 years since then, many unreleased songs, different versions, and songs with improved sound quality have been released since then. However, this title remains the default for outtake research (there is V1.0, but V2.0 was released and corrected immediately after it). The same outtakes are numbered, and some have unknown song titles. This will be the basis of research, and if a new version leaks from it, the number will be deleted or added, and if a super deluxe edition is released, the sound quality will be compared and the title will be changed. Of course, all the sound sources that existed at that time are included, no matter how bad the sound quality is, so it will include songs that you have never heard before. Songs with the same name and instrumentals that you cannot find by searching on YouTube are well organized here, making it worth studying. CD1 is a collection of outtakes from his prolific Sign of the Times period. Sudella is also on it, and the excavation is progressing quite well now. The second half of CD3 is a collection of outtakes from before Love Sexy. It contains cool unreleased songs such as The Sex Of It, which was provided to Kid Creole & Coconuts, and Girl Power, which was planned to be included on the legendary Sheila E.’s fourth Prince-produced album. Among them, Cookie Jar, which I recently discovered is actually an original unreleased song by Prince. It had always been thought to be Cookie Jar from A Whole Nother Thang by Fuzzy Haskins, a member of P-Funk in 1976. It does indeed have the same lyrics, but musically it is very different. It was later offered to George Clinton, but his engineer accidentally erased the beginning of the song, so it was never recorded, and it later appears in the chorus of the song Way Up. CD4 contains the legendary Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic session, Graffiti Bridge outtakes with many different versions, and an unreleased remix of the Love Sexy single.
