The August 14, 1986 show at the New Morning in Paris, featuring some of the most precious performances from a one-off gig, has been remastered by Updown. This time, the audio has been thoroughly remastered by the excellent sound master team of Dafonk and DEL, with significant improvements to the editing and sound quality. They have succeeded in removing as much of the jarring clipping noise that has hindered the enjoyment of this recording for many years as possible. As a result, the sound is clearer and sharper, and you can finally fully appreciate the brilliance of this performance. Don’t expect ultimate sound quality or soundboard-quality recording, but the sound quality has definitely improved. This release also includes another remaster by io. To be honest, many people will probably think that the Updown remaster sounds better. However, the io remaster has a different sound and punch.
