In 1986, Prince released a number one hit in the US and toured the world at the height of his popularity, but his creative drive reached its peak and he continued to record in the studio energetically. After repeated trial and error in the recording sessions, he produced the phantom albums “Dream Factory” and “Crystal Ball”, which were shelved, as well as “Camille” and “The Black Album”, and many other unreleased projects. After many twists and turns, he released the masterpiece album “Sign of the Times” the following year. This album chronologically includes precious unreleased recordings from the recording sessions in 1986, which was a miraculous year when he was at his peak. “FIRST SEASON:WINTER/SPRING” includes songs from the “Fresh Sessions” unreleased album “Dream Factory”, including a collaboration with the legendary Miles Davis, and songs from “Crystal Ball”, which was later released in a different form. “SECOND SEASON: SUMMER/AUTUMN” includes the transition from “Camille” to “The Black Album” and even “Sign of the Times”.
