PRETTY MAIDS has come again this year with the aim of completely reproducing the masterpiece “FUTURE WORLD”. The latest and best live album is now available. This performance in Japan will only be held at Club Citta Kawasaki 2DAYS. The first day was titled “Complete Reproduction + GREATEST HITS & BAND’S FAVORITES,” and the second day was titled “Complete Reproduction + RARE SONGS & FAN’S FAVORITES,” and this work is a live album from the “November 18th” performance on the second day. This work, which contains such a show, is a masterpiece. It is an original master that was directly given to me by the recording artist himself, but I would like to call it “just like a sound board” due to the extremely thick core and detailed details. If you listen to it with headphones, you can feel it like an audience recording due to the sound of the snare, but on the other hand, it doesn’t feel like an audience record other than that. The sounds of the performance and the singing are very close, and even the sound of a single cymbal feels as if it’s being played right in front of your eyes. The slight picking nuances of the guitar are clear, and even the deep bass, which tends to be a weak point in the audience, is clear, even down to the undulations of the bass. Ronnie Atkins’ vocals are even better than that. Anyway, it’s very thick and vivid. You can clearly understand not only every single word but even every syllable of the lyrics, and it’s so close that you’ll think it’s an FM soundboard. What’s even more amazing is the solid sense of stability. While retaining that sense of close contact, no matter how loud you get or how passionate you sing, there is no distortion or chatter, and even the slightest fluctuation in the sound, such as when the direction of the microphone changes, can be heard throughout the full show. The detailed recording position is not conveyed, but the balance is as if it was recorded from backstage. The dignified melody shines everywhere, and the powerful beat resonates to the bottom of your stomach. It is a powerful yet beautiful recording. What is depicted with that sound is the 100% version of “FUTURE WORLD”. The show consists of two parts, the first part (disc 1) is the “FUTURE WORLD” edition, and the second part (disc 2) is the RARE SONGS & FAN’S FAVORITES edition. Of course, what is attracting attention is the complete reproduction of “FUTURE WORLD”. The original song order was different between the North American version and the European/Japanese version, but the show was reproduced exactly as the European/Japanese version. There are plenty of delicious songs such as “Loud ‘N’ Proud”, “Needles In The Dark” and “Long Way To Go”, which can only be reproduced, and the world of masterpieces is depicted with the enthusiasm of live performance. And don’t miss the second part. The only songs that were the same as the previous day were “Sin-Decade,” “Bull’s Eye,” and “Back to Back,” and the remaining nine songs were completely replaced. The contents are also rich. There is also “Red Hot And Heavy”, but as the title is “RARE SONGS”, there are a lot of unusual songs. “Running Out” and “Nightmare In The Neighborhood” from “SIN-DECADE” and even “Attention” from “JUMP THE GUN” pop out.
