Description
The stage of the PRETENDERS led by Chrissie Hynde, which appeared on the 19th of the annual Montreux Jazz Festival held from July 4th to 20th, 2003, was recorded in full from the broadcast source in stereo sound board recording. In November of the previous year, they released a new album “Loose Screw” from their new label “Artemis Records” and have been actively performing live, but there have been almost no titles released that recorded live performances during this period, so this is a must-listen title for fans and non-fans alike. All 21 songs, from the opening track “LIE TO ME” from “Loose Screw” to the ending track “BRASS IN POCKET” from their first album, are organized and performed in a unified style despite the passage of 23 years, and the consistent Pretenders sound is recorded in full stage. But above all, fans will be pleased to hear songs like “Precious” and “Brass In Pocket” from the first album, as well as the hit singles “Message Of Love” and “Back On The Chain Gang.” However, during “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” the band suddenly stops playing as if they’re having trouble, and instead performs a jazz version that was specially prepared for this day! This is definitely a highlight. Live at Auditorium Stravinski, Montreux, Switzerland 19th July 2003 STEREO SBD Disc 1 1. Lie To Me 2. Message Of Love 3. My Baby 4. Talk Of The Town 5.
