On February 20th, the 13th day of the 1977 “In The Flesh” tour, Belgium’s Antwerp performance was recorded in full with a high-quality audience recording. This is a must-have for fans, recorded in perfect master quality with outstanding freshness. At the beginning, the somewhat rough sound image of Sheep may give the impression of a lack of sound quality, but as you listen, you will realize that the wonderful sound image, which does not feel sluggish or degraded in either the high or low tones, is actually a very high-grade, excellent recording. The sound is also very stable, and there are no noisy audiences around the recorder, so you can enjoy the performance. The serious mood and the solid, intense ensemble, which are typical of European performances, are wonderful, and you can hear the ideal performance of the Animals tour, which is completely different from the later American performances. Mason’s drums are recorded clearly in the overall sound image, so you can enjoy a very sharp performance. All the songs are performed at a high level, but in the guitar solo from 1 minute 50 seconds of Dogs, Gilmour seems to have forgotten the solo structure, and the solo becomes a mess (around 2:20).
