Description

The legendary 3-disc analog bootleg LP “Pink Floyd” (KP339-KP344), which was released the earliest after Floyd’s second Japan tour in 1972, is reprinted from the original. It can be said that it is currently impossible to obtain, and we miraculously obtained this extremely rare edition, which is only rarely traded among enthusiasts at a very high premium. Moreover, it is of the highest quality without a single prick! We have carefully reprinted the three original discs and successfully made each disc into a CD. This analog version originally had quite irregular content overall, and the main take was on March 8, 1972, the first performance in Osaka. The second part, One Of These Days, Eugene, Echoes, is included on Disc 3/4, and the encore Atom Heart Mother is included on the second half of analog Disc 2 (the first half of Disc 2 is from 1971). Fat Old Sun) performed in Osaka on August 9th. Analog Disc 1 includes Cymbaline from the Osaka performance on August 9, 1971, and encore A Saucerful Of Secrets from the second day of the Osaka performance in 1972. Normally, the conceivable content would be to have a CD in chronological order, with “Madness” on Disc 1, Part 2 on Disc 2, and Encore “Atomic Heart Mother” and 3 bonus songs on Disc 3, but this The disc is made according to the analog composition. The sound image is stable in every take, and it is recorded with a very high quality sound with outstanding freshness that makes you think it was straight from analog. Disc 1 contains 58 minutes and 16 seconds. The sound quality of the Cymbaline performance on August 9, 1971 in Osaka is average, but the encore A Saucerful Of Secrets taken on August 9, the second day of the Osaka performance in 1972, is a wonderful recording that gives you a sense of depth and clarity. It is the best take that stands out among the sets. This is an outstanding performance filled with Floyd’s strong mental power during this period, which silences everyone and makes you feel a sense of murderous tension. The sound quality of the Fat Old Sun performance in Osaka on August 9, 1971 is very good, coming from the speakers as clear as a line recording. Atom Heart Mother, the encore of the first day of Osaka in 1972, which is famous for “Darkest Moon”, is recorded with a hard and solid sound, and the punchy drum sound is a nice take. Disc 2 contains 50 minutes. The second part of the first day in Osaka in 1972 is recorded as is, and although the sound is a little muffled, it makes you feel the power of a thick wall of sound. Although there is some hiss, the musical tones are recorded clearly. The sound quality seems to get better as the song progresses. Disc 3 contains 50 minutes of “Madness” from the first day of Osaka in 1972. The sound quality is very good, wide and deep, with little hiss, and the best take has plenty of sound pressure and punch. All pitches have been corrected for all three discs. This album’s 2 hours and 38 minutes of sound source is extremely valuable as it has never been released as a CD title until now. For most people, this is probably the first time they’ve heard it. For Japanese sound source collectors, this historically very important sound source is released as a 3-disc title.
