Description
“As the final chapter of the 1977 “In The Flesh” tour, 4 Days at Madison Square Garden in New York will shine brightly in Floyd’s history. The first day of that historic performance is made into a Hatsune record! A spectacular recorded sound source of the July 1st performance in New York. The sound quality is a bit inferior to the roaring ultra-high sound quality of the second day of the New York performance recorded on the new album, and can be said to be a rather plain sound, but the freshness and stability of the sound are perfect, and even without listening to the press version. If you listen to this alone, you can enjoy the entire show with a high-quality sound that has no problems (Sheep’s 3:32 cut is the original). One of the highlights is that the venue announcement prior to the performance is clearly recorded, so here you can hear the audience repeating over and over again, “Never use fireworks or firecrackers.” You can. (As you know, there are flashy firecracker sounds exploding in various places every day.) It was the first New York performance of the tour, and it was at MSG, so I think the members’ enthusiasm was unusual. This attitude can be seen in the relatively solid manner in which they play. The show seems to be a great success, but an “incident” occurs during the encore MONEY. The members reappeared on stage. As the sound check rang out, Roger spoke into the microphone and thanked the audience, saying, “Thank you for coming.” Up until this point, it seems like a normal greeting, but suddenly Roger starts to get extremely angry. After prefaced by saying that he would like to say a few words, Roger furiously protests against the local union who forced him to use the writing staff from the venue, Madison Square Garden, and the terrible work done by the venue’s lighting staff. and starts cursing. Since the hysterical state of naming and attacking him was hardly seen during the tour, it can be seen that he was quite upset. It is interesting to see how the register’s SE overlaps with Roger’s angry words and Money is played normally, making it an interesting listen at the end. High-quality audience recording title of the first day of the Madison Square Garden performance in New York, which was held for four days. The opening venue announcement and Roger’s furious scene before the encore are also must-listen. Live At Madison Square Garden,New York City,NY,USA 01st July 1977 Disc 1 1. Introduction 2. Sheep 3.
