Description
The ultra-superb stereo soundboard album that you can experience through PINK FLOYD’s last world tour “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” is reprinted. [Completely recorded sound board that allows you to fully experience the “Tour”] This work includes “September 13, 1994 Turin performance”. It is an ultra-superb stereo sound board recording that allows you to enjoy the whole story at the highest quality at once. This work is a unique live album in itself, but it becomes even more brilliant when you look at the sound source situation of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”. The first point is that it is a “completely recorded soundboard”. Speaking of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”, it is above all the official “P.U.L.S.E”, but while the official version is a wonderful musical work, it was also an “edited version” that was taken from the stage of 12 performances. Instead of being able to enjoy the highlights of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” where the set changes daily, it lacked the real thrill of a live album where you can listen to once-in-a-lifetime live performances on stage. Enthusiasts seeking that “experience” and “through feeling” have tried their hand at various recordings, but most of them are audience recordings. It was difficult to enjoy it on the sound board. “TORINO 1994 SOUNDBOARD” was made in 2001. It is a soundboard that records the Turin performance in one go, and the quality is super-excellent, close to the official work. Upon its appearance, it reigned as a live album representing “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”. [The only full soundboard that does not overlap with “P.U.L.S.E” at all] Another point of such “TORINO 1994 SOUNDBOARD” is that there is no duplication with the official “P.U.L.S.E”. Our store also has the long soundboard albums “DEFINITIVE PULSE” and “EARLS COURT 1994 BBC RADIO BROADCAST” of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”, both of which are related to “P.U.L.S.E”. It was either an expanded version of the official version or a broadcast version from the main venue. On the other hand, this work has nothing to do with “P.U.L.S.E.” In order to understand the situation, let’s organize the sound board situation of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” here. 《North America edition》・March 3rd + 23rd: Rehearsal ・March 30th – July 18th (59 performances) 《European edition》・July 22nd – August 16th (14 performances)★August 17th : Hannover performance *Adopted for “P.U.L.S.E” ・August 19th – September 11th (14 performances) ・September 13th: Turin performance ← [This work] ・September 15th: Udine performance ★September 17th: Modena performance *Selected for “P.U.L.S.E” ★September 19th – 21st: Rome *2 of the 3 performances selected for “P.U.L.S.E” ・September 23rd + 25th (2 performances) ★October 13th – 29th: Earl’s Court performance *8 out of 14 performances were included in “P.U.L.S.E” *Note: Shows marked with “★” were included in “P.U.L.S.E”. This is a summary of FLOYD’s last world tour. Although “P.U.L.S.E” is excerpted from various parts of the European leg, the Turin performance of this work is completely out of place even though it is in between. In other words, all the songs and notes of this work cannot be heard on “P.U.L.S.E”. Of course, the set is different and you can also enjoy “On The Turning Away,” “Take It Back,” and “One Of These Days,” which could not be heard in “P.U.L.S.E.” Moreover, this is known as a masterpiece throughout the tour. “What Do You Want From Me” has an outstanding sense of color with the guitar that stands out and the chorus backing up, “A Great Day For Freedom” has a wonderful force in which the guitar dances while being wrapped in the chorus in the middle, and the main theme trembles as it stands up. “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” is overwhelming with its vividness. Moving on to disc 2, “High Hopes” has a spacey sound image that spreads across the entire range up and down, left and right, the SE of the opening register flies from left and right, the membranous instrument “kazoo” is also vivid in “Money”, and the sound fades to a weak tone. You can hear it, the last lyrics “we fall…♪” are delayed for about 40 seconds (!!) in “Hey You”, the squealing sound of car tires is also heard in “Run Like Hell”, etc. The power of the stereo sound board explodes in all episodes and songs. [Update the highest peak in history] This work is the highest peak in history of such a wonderful Torino sound board. Using the best existing masters, the entire volume has been polished with precision and meticulous remastering. “TORINO 1994 SOUNDBOARD” There was a skip in “One Of These Days” in other previous releases, but that was also completely repaired. While it is natural to have an iron-clad perfection with no pitch or vibration, there is no excessive equalization that pollutes the taste of the super-excellent original sound. This is the highest peak live album of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR”, which maintains a balanced and natural sound while increasing the level of perfection. In fact, I tried remastering it for this reissue, but any equalization was just a nuisance, and there was nothing I could do to improve it. A treasure of “THE DIVISION BELL TOUR” that was born in 2014 and quickly sold out and went out of print. Although it is a completely different performance from “P.U.L.S.E”, it is the one and only ultra-superior stereo sound board album that allows you to fully experience one full show. A great album that is a cultural heritage and allows you to enjoy the “authentic” feel of the great PINK FLOYD’s last tour. A soundboard title representing the 1994 tour that was released in 2014 and sold out in a short period of time.
