Description
On August 7, 1987, in preparation for their North American tour for “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason,” which was scheduled to take place in a month, Canada held a tour rehearsal held at a warehouse in Toronto’s Lester Pearson Airport with top-level professionals. Recorded for 55 minutes in one shot. This video was recorded by Floyd’s staff, and since the whole story is recorded in bits and pieces, there are almost no complete takes of the song, but it has a high level of image quality that makes you believe that it is a master direct, which is different from the quality of the video era. The sound of the best line recording is wonderful, and you can immerse yourself in this precious ultra-high quality video with almost no stress. The professional shot video of Echoes, which was only played at the beginning of the tour, is a must-see part! Signs of Life is performed in time with the screen, but the band has not yet mastered click time, so the screen sometimes ends before the music. The innocent performance of Gilmore and others in Learning To Fly is a must-see, and the lighting and screen just like the real performance create a wonderful effect. During the song, the depth inside the warehouse is shown, and the spacious space is very realistic. In Terminal Frost, Scott Page’s enthusiastic performance with different wind instruments catches the eye. The first half of Sorrow’s video is quite fragmented, but the instrumental part centered around the guitar solo in the second half of the song is worth watching. The panoramic view of the stage and close-up scenes of the members are both impressive. Dogs Of War starts with a screen up. Although the stage is dark in full view, Gilmore’s lively and passionate singing is wonderful. A close-up scene continues from the guitar solo, and the shot of Scott and Gilmore on the saxophone in the second half is quite a picture-perfect shot. At the beginning of On The Turning Away, we see a group of people watching from a distance for the first time. This song is a fragmented video of the guitar solo in the second half, but the close-up shots taken from various angles are so cool that you can’t help but stare at them. One Of These Days features a wonderful video featuring fast-moving lights and Gilmore playing slide guitar. For some reason, only Time is recorded with microphone recording, and the image from the right side of the stage is wonderful, and everyone will be fascinated by Rick Wright’s passionate singing scene. It’s hard to see Floyd’s stage from this angle, so you can enjoy fresh footage. Wish You Were Here is a dark video, but the close-up of Gilmore illuminated by the red light in the second half is cool and a must-see. In the second half of Welcome To The Machine, which starts with an animated screen image, you can see Gilmore performing while smiling. Us & Them does not have a vocal echo, but Gilmore singing with a delicious vocal is full of mood, and it is a take that makes you want to listen to it more. Similarly, Gilmore’s performance in which you can hear powerful vocals in the first half of Money and Another Brick In The Wall is wonderful, and the up scene is especially worth seeing. Run Like Hell’s flashy lights are overwhelming, making you think it’s a light test. The scene at One Slip showing the band standing out against the colorful lights is short but beautiful. (It’s interesting to see the people involved sitting in front of the stage watching.) A must-have title for fans that captures the rehearsals just before the world tour with realistic professional shot high-quality footage is now available in master quality.
