A remastered take of the analog era masterpiece “Crackers”, a high-quality recording of the Hollywood Bowl sound source from September 22nd, from the 1972 Second North American Tour, is now available for the first time. By removing all hiss, we have reduced the rough noise and achieved a clean and clear sound that is different from the original version. It seems that the recording of Breathe at the beginning of this take failed, and it is supplemented with Breathe from “In Celebration Of The Comet” (a copy of “Best Of Tour ’72”) released by TAKRL, so in that part The sound quality changes drastically, but since “Recorder 1” after On The Run has a weaker left output than the right, we also adjusted the balance in that area, aiming for a more complete sound. The original take of this record has not yet appeared, so the take dropped from the record in good condition is still considered the definitive version of “Recorder 1”. A must-listen.
