Description

From the unreleased official live performance of Phil Woods, who went to Europe in 1968 and formed European Rhythm Machine, we have created a broadcast sound source of his performance at Jazz aus Studio 2 in Cologne, Germany on October 15, 1969. Recorded in a 2-disc set with the stereo soundboard sound source used. The members include British master Gordon Beck on the piano, Henri Texier on the bass, and Daniel Humer on the drums, and the masterpiece “At The Frankfurt Jazz Festiva” recorded in March 1970.・It is a live performance by the same members as “Rhythm Machine”. The set list is different except for “Freedom Jazz Dance”, and you can fully enjoy Phil Woods’ warm and passionate alto tones backed by three masters.
